Headcanons
♔ He is very kind and compassionate, and when it comes to his creations he makes sure they are kept up with and properly cared for. Most of the time done by him personally.
♔ When he gets stressed, he tends to take little walks alone, playing melancholic and slow paced music to help roll him into a less stressful place.
♔ There are rare moments of rest for him, but when he takes a break, it usually involves more work in some sense or fashion.
♔ He is very fond of his younger half brother, Gavin. Most certainly tries his best to make him happy and be a good sibling.
♔ Refers to Chloe as 'his little blueberry' once she goes deviant due to her always wearing blue.
♔ The Fallout and the Bioshock games are his two favorite game series. Mostly due to the background of what each game is portrayed around. Bioshock for the political and psychological points through it; Fallout for the 'end of the world' scenario.
♔ Because his love for the Fallout games, during his times at University he decided to create a real and perfectly functioning replica of Muggy from New Vegas' DLC, Old World Blues for a class project.
♔ He has a very beautiful set of vocals, and has a tendency to sing mostly old swing and jazz; especially when working alone in his lab.
♔ As he comes across deviants, he will pick them up and bring them home. He cares for them, and hopes to help them.
♔ The two necklaces he wears are of important significance to him. One is from a childhood friend, who he lost contact with when he went off to college. The other is from his mother, who he watched fight with cancer for a lot of his childhood ad eventually lost after he finished his first year of college.
♔ His focus and emotions can get a bit off rails. Through most of his time trying to work and get through university, Elijah had moments where there was no way of getting anything done. It plays into part of him having high functioning ADHD; and this does tend to cause a few hyperactive energy spurts every now and then.
♔ There are a few medications he has to take on the daily, but for how he is, he tends to forget them a lot of the time. He is usually too focused on his work, or too unfocused on his work to think about it.

Elijah's Story
For this AU, Elijah never left CyberLife. Though he is based around time taken before his departure from the company, he never really leaves the company after 2028.
Once he managed to get into University, Elijah worked himself to hell and back to get his degree. There was never a moment he spent not studying. Things grew increasingly difficult after his first year, due to the loss of his mother. She had been battling with cancer for years, and she finally found herself losing the battle. Of course, he didn't let it stop him completely. From there he pushed himself further, acquiring his degree and pushing himself to lengths that nobody could have ever imagined.
Upon graduating, he threw himself into the work field, managing to create the company CyberLife. He worked for years to grab perfection on his ideals and creations, and eventually at the age of 22, Elijah managed to create Chloe and make the first function android; the first android to pass the turing test. To tell the truth, he was so proud of Chloe, he burst into tears immediately upon finding out of her passing.
Elijah is a very kept to person, beyond his seemingly caring personality. He finds himself determined to help, and when placed into situations where he is given any chance to lend a helping hand, he reaches out for that. It rolls around to part of why he created androids in the first place. His hopes and dreams revolved around ideals that androids would help those around him, but once he fully caught a glimpse of how humans could have treated these androids, he began reprogramming them. Their purpose became almost an experiment for him, but he did indeed care greatly for his androids.
Purpose for these androids became simple. He made them to help, yes, but later they would lead to something far greater and much more advanced than what anyone might have expected from them. The androids he created were his most prized achievements; he most certainly didn't want anything wrong to become of them.
One android in particular managed to grasp a hold over his heart, and once he saved this deviated angel, Elijah couldn't seem to let go. Simon; he found laying out in an alley, covered in blood; not just that of blue. He sat drenched in both shades of red and blue and Elijah took the android out of the scenario almost immediately. It took days for Elijah to completely gain Simon's trust, but eventually had a chance to get a grasp on his trust. From there, it took off to something further, and the two of them found themselves laying down their lives for another.
